Blocking out and creating objects using NURBS shapes (blocking out the head from Linguini pipeline)

  1. Get references and adjust them (duh)
  2. Make a NURBS circle and duplicate it throughout the reference to block out the shape
    1. Generally, the extra parts of the head aren’t included, just the skull
  3. Once they match, select all the circles in the order that you made them
  4. Surfaces → Loft
    1. The object made can still be edited using the circles. Scale and move them to match the character
  5. Convert to a poly
    1. Modify→ Convert→ NURBS to Polygons option box → Make sure the type says “Quads” → Tesselate
